Vintage Rolex Precision 9ct Gold Ladies’ Cocktail Watch | 1968

A charming vintage Rolex Precision ladies’ cocktail watch, dating to 1968, with a beautifully detailed 9ct gold bracelet.

The petite 16mm case features an attractive faceted bezel, framing a silvered dial with applied gold baton hour markers, matching hands and the Rolex coronet at twelve. Its delicate proportions are complemented by the unusual bracelet, which features a repeating leaf-inspired design with finely textured edges.

The bracelet gives this piece a distinctly jewellery-like appearance, making it just as lovely worn as a gold bracelet as it is as a traditional wristwatch. The combination of the sculpted case, decorative links and understated dial is particularly characteristic of elegant mid-century Rolex ladies’ watches.

Inside is a mechanical manual-wind movement, which has been fully serviced and is running and keeping time.
