A beautiful Omega Constellation Co-Axial ladies’ watch, combining stainless steel and 18ct gold with a luminous mother-of-pearl diamond dial.

One of Omega’s most recognisable designs, the Constellation is distinguished by its signature four “Griffes”, or claws, positioned around the bezel. This example combines the classic integrated stainless-steel bracelet with warm gold detailing and an engraved Roman numeral bezel, giving the watch an elegant two-tone finish. Omega itself identifies the Griffes and striking dials as defining characteristics of the Constellation collection.

The white mother-of-pearl dial is set with diamond hour markers, catching the light beautifully while retaining the clean, understated appearance of the Constellation. Gold-tone hands complement the gold detailing surrounding the case, while a practical date aperture sits at 3 o’clock.

Inside is Omega’s calibre 8520 automatic Co-Axial movement, visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback. The self-winding calibre features Omega’s Co-Axial escapement, a free-sprung balance with silicon balance spring, bi-directional automatic winding and approximately 50 hours of power reserve.

The watch is also a certified chronometer, combining the jewellery-like appearance of its mother-of-pearl and diamond dial with serious mechanical watchmaking underneath.

The integrated bracelet currently accommodates a wrist of approximately 16cm, with two additional links included to provide scope for adjustment. The watch has a substantial overall weight of approximately 104 grams and is finished with Omega’s signed folding clasp.

This example has been fully serviced and is mechanically ready to wear. Cosmetically, there is visible wear throughout the case, bezel and bracelet consistent with previous use, including surface scratches and marks. I would retain rather than hide that wording in the listing; the photographs show it quite clearly and transparency is much better here.
